Thank you for your interest in Sensible Beauty services. Please be sure to carefully review the entire bridal contract. We require this contract to be completed and submitted with a nonrefundable deposit of 50% of the total expected cost of services for your wedding party. The complete balance for your wedding party will be due on the day of your wedding in cash or check. Bookings: To secure a date, a signed contract is required with a 50% deposit due at the time of signing. The deposit is nonrefundable under any circumstances. Please be advised dates and scheduled hair and makeup times will only be reserved when a signed contract and deposit are received.

Delays: A late fee of $25.00 will be charged for every 30 minutes of delay when a client is late for the scheduled time, or if scheduled hair and makeup exceeds allotted time because of client delays. (Example not having fully dried hair.) You will receive a schedule with the time of everyone's appointment.

Service Location Requirements: Location of service for the day-of-event will be at the discretion of the client, but there are certain requirements the Hair and Makeup Artist needs to complete the hair and makeup service; such as a table and access to an electrical outlet that is provided by the client.

Trial Runs: All trial runs are performed at Wave Salon + CO at 1705 East Main Street Kent. Trial runs are HIGHLY suggested to guarantee a more satisfied bride. Sensible Beauty will not be held liable for services received that client deems unsatisfactory due to forgoing a trial run.

Parking Fees: Where parking, valet or toll fees may be incurred, the amount will be included with the final bill and due for payment on the day of the event.

Traveling Fee: In order for Sensible Beauty to travel there must be 4 or more bridesmaids in the party. A travel fee will be required for any parties not in the salon starting at $20.00. The amount will be determined at the time of the inquiry.

Assistants: Sensible Beauty is subject to needing an assistant or second stylist meaning additional charges may apply.

Liability: All brushes and makeup products are kept sanitary and are sanitized between every makeup application. Makeup products used are hypoallergenic. Any skin condition and or allergies of anyone in the party must be reported by the client to Sensible Beauty prior to application and, if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction. Client or clients in the wedding party agree to release the makeup artist and Sensible Beauty from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.

Payment: The final balance is due on the day of the event, before the services start, as one payment in cash or check. If the person(s) decide to pay with a credit card, a 3% fee will be applied to all services. The person(s) responsible for the entire balance of payment is the person(s) who are entering this agreement.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made (30) days prior to your reserved date or you will be responsible for the full amount of services agreed upon in this contract.

COVID Policy: All deposits are non refundable, however if you have to move your wedding date due to COVID, the deposit amount will carry over to the new date as long as Sensible Beauty is available for the new date.
I agree to have my appointment scheduled as needed, and prices and policies listed in this contract as applicable to my scheduled appointments. I understand and agree to the nonrefundable deposit to secure appointments for my party. I agree to pay the complete balance for my wedding party the day of the wedding listed in this contract. I understand and will comply with the cancellation policy. I understand that no refund will be given for members of the wedding party who miss their appointment on the day of the wedding.
I release the right for Sensible Beauty to use any of the professional/ nonprofessional photo images taken on my wedding day for Sensible Beauty advertising. Photos from my wedding may be posted on the Sensible Beauty website and on Sensible Beauty social media pages to promote their Hair and Makeup services.
Sensible Beauty LLC reserves the right to cancel due to circumstances such as; a result of sickness, accidents, acts of God and other reasons beyond the Sensible Beauty’s control. In the unlikely instance that Sensible Beauty is unable to perform their services, the client is entitled to a full refund of any money that has been paid. Sensible Beauty will also provide a list of stylist recommendations that offer a comparable service at a similar cost.
